Founded in 1961 by people just like you—people with a passion and dedication to the preservation of community and railroad history. For over 60-years, The Fox River Trolley Museum has been preserving and interpreting Chicago’s electric railway transportation era for members and public alike.

Membership is open to everyone with an interest in preserving, advancing and disseminating knowledge of railroad transportation history. Your membership will support the preservation, display, and, most importantly, the operation of historic railway vehicles and trolleys for the public.
